The Stack Stories

About

A publication for the curious

Long-form editorial journalism on technology, AI, business, and ideas — researched with the help of modern tooling, reviewed by humans.

Our Mission

Understanding technology should not require a computer-science degree. The Stack Stories exists to make complex ideas accessible, accurate, and useful for the people building the future — founders, engineers, investors, and curious readers.

We cover the intersection of technology, AI, startups, business, design, and science — focusing on stories that matter beyond the news cycle.

How we work — AI-assisted, human-reviewed

Transparency matters. The Stack Stories uses large language models (GPT-class systems) to help with research summaries, first drafts, headline ideation, and copy editing. Every article that goes live is then read end-to-end by a human editor on our team, who is responsible for the final published version.

We use AI the way many newsrooms now use spell-checkers, transcription software, and research databases: as a tool that augments human editorial judgment, not as a replacement for it. Our editorial team owns the angle, the sourcing, the accuracy, and the byline.

For the full breakdown of our process, see our AI Disclosure and Editorial Standards.

Editorial Standards

  • Every published article is reviewed by a human editor before going live.
  • We label sponsored content and paid partnerships clearly.
  • We maintain editorial independence from advertisers and sponsors.
  • Corrections are made transparently — original wording is noted alongside the update.
  • We respect reader privacy and never sell personal data.

The Editorial Team

All articles on The Stack Stories are attributed to The Stack Stories Editorial — our in-house team responsible for researching, drafting, reviewing, and publishing every story. We chose a single transparent byline over individual author pages because every article goes through the same editorial process and we want the accountability to sit with the publication, not with invented personas.
